Experience

Dr. Nichols received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin after completing undergraduate studies in physics andastronomy at Colgate University in New York. He served his internship at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Milwaukee and his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin Eye institute. Dr. Nichols specializes in Anterior Segment surgery including cataract surgery and LASIK vision correction.

Dr. Nichols has published scientific papers in the journals of Ophthalmology and American Journal of Ophthalmology. He has been active in providing eye care to the less fortunate, volunteering his time and surgical skills.

Dr. Nichols offers his patients the most advanced vision correction technology available today including Intralase and CustomVue LASIK and multi-focal lens implants.   Dr. Nichols performs LASIK surgery at the  Laser Vision Center of Edina, a state-of-the-art laser vision correction facility conveniently located on France Avenue in Edina.

Dr. Nichols is board-certified and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
