Routine Eye Examination
Routine eye examinations are a essential part of maintaining healthy vision and identifying eye problems. Yearly eye examinations have been recommended as a standard for good health maintenance, however, adults below the age of 40 who have a low frequency of eye disease, may require less frequent examinations.
Your routine eye exam with us will look like this:
Step 1 – One of our technician s will take measurements of your eyes to measure their focusing power and whether any correction is needed, as well as how much. These results are shared with the physician.
Step 2 – One of our ophthalmologists will review your eye measurements with you, explaining in detail what each measurement means. The doctor will also look into your eyes to assess any abnormalities, including corneal disorders, cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, etc.
Step 3 – You will have a chance to ask any questions about your eye and vision health.
Step 4 – Consult with an Optician for your Eyewear needs. If you wear CL, you will meet personally with a CL specialist for the best fitting contacts, best vision and comfort.
